Snowtrekker bag...
« on: October 04, 2017, 11:31:07 PM »
On the last trip, the hunting trip the old duffle style dry back I was using for the Snowtrekker decided its life was up... So I decided to make a new one use the rest of my red 500d Cordura that I got a long time ago...

I made it so I can fit all the stuff that goes with the tent. Tent, poles, guy lines, pegs, ground tarp, fly...
And I made it so it fits easily in w/o having to fight with the stuff. But I made it so it can compress down to a nice tight package!!
The bag isn't waterproof, but that is ok, I will use a HD garbage bag to line it up for the shoulder seasons!!

Nice work!  It does look like a tidy package.
Are you stuffing your canvas tent, or rolling it and then putting it into the bag?

I roll it, make the roll the same length as the poles. I could easily stuff it in the new bag, but I find that rolling it makes for a smaller bundle.

Nice job. I'm still using the MEC duffel bag.
