Taking my 21 y/o daughter to NY ADK in a few weeks and want to go snowshoeing. It’s also the rule to wear them when snow is a certain depth.
Problem is she has a small foot and the msr’s didn’t fit right at the store.  Any one have suggestions?  The children’s pairs are not aggressive enough and not long enough for her weight. opinions wanted. Thanks
PS. They rent shoes there at the LOJ but I’m afraid that they will not fit when we get there so I’m trying to buy a pair.  Thanks.

have you thought about using a traditional style? Because you buy the binding separate you can get one to fit and just lace it on.

Traditional was my first thought too but, I am assuming that because you are planning to follow the snow depth rule it means you will be on trail, which rules may rule out traditional as snowshoes on ADK trails are usually more about grip than float. What about some sort of insole in the MSRs to take up more space and make the binding fit smaller. Like blue foamy cut out to the shape of the inside bottom of the MSR binding? Or alternatively a pad that attaches to the inside of the binding straps for the top of the boot. It will look kinda crazy, but may work.

Says they fit down to a 4.5 womens.

Though maybe you have tried this style already?

Perhaps take a look at some of the Faber models with the wing decking.

My wife teaches an outdoor program up here and some time there is students with really small feet or footwear, they use MSR snowshoes for that program and what she does, is put a piece of foam like bleu foamy on top of the boot in between the boot and the binding, I'm sure it takes a bit a fiddling every time you put the snowshoe on, but it works great!!

Thanks for ideas, wll tty to tinker with the foam idea.
Thanks BV for that link, I didn’t see those in the store.
Friend suggested Tubbs.
Worst case I piggy back her like I did 20 years ago!
I did pick up small microspikes that just fit. Also short gaiters.
But I am having fun shopping for her, to back she’s moving to warmer climate. :(
