General Winter Camping Discussion / Interesting possibility.......??????
« on: September 28, 2019, 06:51:50 am »
So.........I just saw Harlan's last video on his youtube channel (solotrekker). He has sold Red Lake Outfitters and is going on to new adventures. This is clearly speculation but............Is it possible that Hoop has purchased the company from Harlan and is busy rearranging his life to accommodate?? Obviously those two have worked together in the past. Man, wouldn't that be exciting???

I would order a couple stickers also..........

Maybe try to make contact with Tim over at Canadian Outdoor Supply. He might be able help in some way??

I have a couple of those Kelty poles. I have used them on canoe base camp trips for tarp pitching. They are very strong and fold down nicely. I use a velcro strap around them for storage. I'm sure they could be adapted for the mega horn tent.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm..........2yrs out. Gives me time to accumulate and/or upgrade equipment........... It's a 20hrs drive to Red Lake Outfitters from the flatlands of Ohio, but that's no big deal..........I could be a little more stingy with my vacation time over the next two yrs. and roll an extra 2 weeks ahead for the trip.............Hmmmmmm...................Gotta get Ti stove and -10° bag.........Hmmmmmmmm..........sounds interesting...........
