BWCA trout fishing on knife
« on: January 07, 2011, 11:43:01 am »
looking for 2 people to fill out fishing trip into Knife lake in BWCA going in early morning Feb 5th coming out late Feb 9th. Will be pulling sleds in through Moose Lake on skis or snow shoes and will be a very hard/long pull in and out so need to be in good to great physical condition. Have warm tent and all base camp equipment so only personal gear will be required. Will meet in Ely Friday evening for equipment check off and initial planning done by e-mail and phone.

Will be doing a photo shoot and  winter article for Boundary Water Journal Magazine on ice fishing on Knife Lake and group will include staff from BWJ. Experienced winter campers only and good fisher persons a plus. For non- fisherman there will be side day trip photo shoots as need pictures with people for article. e-mail [email protected] if interested.

We will be doing a trip from Moose to Sag with a stop on knife and prob a day trip into Kek for trout fishing sometime around that time period similiar to what you're saying.  We've already got a full tent, but maybe we'll see you out there since we'll be out there for a while.
