Old Faithful Ski In
« on: December 17, 2013, 08:40:24 pm »
I live in Montana and am looking for someone to ski or shoe into Old Faithful off trail. If someone is from out of the area I may be able to help with logistics. Plan is to come in from west; Mac's Landing Idaho. Camp in area one night and head for Old Faithful Cross country. Rent room in snow lodge of Old Faithful and either backtrack out or ride the snowcoach out the next day. Any takers?

Hi Timfin! Welcome

I have been out in your neck of the woods - spent a week at Bridge Bay in 2011.  I love the country and hope to return someday.  It's where the Fly-Fishing bug bit me.  Good luck finding partners and that sounds like a great trip.

When you say Mac's Landing, Idaho. Do you mean Mack's Inn in the Island Park area?
