Valens Conservation Area- 1-2 March 2014
« on: February 23, 2014, 02:23:41 pm »

Returned recently from my annual trip in Algonquin and started to look at my kit drying in the basement. I really don't want to pack it away for the year just yet.
What with some big changes happening at my company over the next while, I can't take the time on a longer trip.
So, I plan on going in to Valens next weekend. Nice, simple "car" trip.

Any of you Southern Ontario folks should know of Valens. If not:

It would be nice to meet some of you.

You read my mind.  I was thinking of heading to Valens this coming weekend, myself.  Now I will definitely add it to my calendar.

See you there.

Great.

I would guess that you will be setting up in your usual location?

All are welcome.

Looking at the weather forecast for the weekend, it isn't looking promising.  High of -1 for Saturday with a good chance for snow and wet snow at that.  Too warm for me to head out.

Perhaps the following weekend will be better weather wise.

Cheers
