How high up did you put the jack? Is there less heat than there would be with a roof jack? Do you use an elbow to angle the pipe out? How would an elbow work with the tapering kni co stove pipe?

I had mine placed at about 55" up the back wall, right in the center.  I have a long run of pipe w an angle about 28" up and I do believe it max's out the heat in the living space.  In my 3' side wall tent, it certainly is the best location for heat output, I like the access through the front door without having to worry about someone (!) knocking into the hot stove.
