Photography fun with snow at night
« on: February 04, 2009, 08:48:07 pm »
Using a flash, you get interesting results by photographing falling snow at night.

Snow and the stovepipe:   I just thought this looked interesting.   I was glad I was hot tenting inside in the heat, as opposed to outside cold camping in the blowing snow.

The hot tent is hot!   Snow melting on my Snowtrekker roof.  The temperature outside is minus 12C.

A close up of the beads of water from melted snow on my tent roof.

Theres no end of interesting topics for photography in winter.

"I firmly believe that far from hurting the planet, the growing knowledge of Bushcraft is helping our natural world. When we employ bushcraft skills, it may seem as though we are consuming natural resources.  But of course, the more we learn about the trees, the plants, the animals around us, the more we respect them. The more we respect them, the more we cherish them, the more we nurture and take care of them. That is the underlying principle of Bushcraft.
