Nice pics AunNordDuNord. It's nice seeing that someone has some frost, snow, and ice.

Hi ANDN, you live in a fantastic part of the country!  Now, because many of us are living in El Nino hell of record breaking warm temperatures, and rain, rain, rain,......we ahem....are relying on you to post up alot of wintry trekking photo/video TR's!   I currently have grass showing on my lawn here.   :(

"I firmly believe that far from hurting the planet, the growing knowledge of Bushcraft is helping our natural world. When we employ bushcraft skills, it may seem as though we are consuming natural resources.  But of course, the more we learn about the trees, the plants, the animals around us, the more we respect them. The more we respect them, the more we cherish them, the more we nurture and take care of them. That is the underlying principle of Bushcraft.

I'm lucky indeed, even if I made my luck by moving up here almost 20 years ago now. I don't do videos, to time consuming, but photo I can do for sure and usually do some kind of trip report... We are hopping to go for a few days before school start again, but it will most likely be a base camp, close to the vehicle since the people we are going with have 3 under 8 years old, but it should be nice. I will for sure report back!!
