Voile' release bindings
« on: November 17, 2016, 04:19:56 pm »
As a former Nordic and alpine ski patroller I've seen enough injuries to want release bindings in the backcountry. I like Voile' plate bindings.

My Asnes Combi Combat BC touring skis and my Atomic TM-22 tele skis both have Voile' releasable plate bindings for my heavy duty 3-pin bindings.

Been using these bindings for years. They are durable and work very well EXCEPT for full forward falls. In those falls your free heel situation usually is enough to prevent injury.
