Winter camping at Mactaquac

I just finished a nice trip into a Provincial Park this weekend and the best of all it was all free. I posted a short description and some pictures on my site.

Thanks Mitchell. Sometimes we don't have to go far to find solitude during the winter months.

What is the tent and what modifications have you done to it.

Hey Rick. The tent is the Alaknak II from Cabelas. Its a nice tent but it too much for 2 people to carry with a stove. This was our first time skiing in with all our supplies, so this was just a test to see how everything would go. We were quite pleased with it but it would be nice to have a couple more people join us to help lessen the loads. Then I would try somewhere in the middle of the woods.
