I haven't had a chance to fully check this out but I'm certain it will be of interest here:

The objective of the Barren Lands digital collection was to digitize and provide web access to the archives of Canadian explorer J.B. Tyrrell.

Amazing site! They have some really cool online the written reports of major expeditions in the late 1800's.

Interesting, thanks Bioguide. Am I reading it right that this Barren Lands Collection website has over 7,000 photos from this one explorer, J.B. Tyrrell? What a life he must have lived.
