Russian Ski boots
« on: February 16, 2018, 12:57:56 pm »
It took me a while,  winter is almost gone, and I bought Siberian hunters boots from Russia.

they also have no laces version

cost is $95 usd + $33 shipping
Shipping time is around 4 weeks, so I should get them in March (lol)
They also have nice line of skis
with full fur skins

Price $315- 360
or just strip

Price $200- $220

shipping around $70 (all prices USD)

All reviews are pretty good both for ski and boots
boots are very light and soft under 1kg each made from veal leather, removable felt insert and EVA sole

plain ski no fur skin size 192 cm x 20cm  weight 1700 gram, not sure about full fur skin.
I will keep you updated how it worked out.
As you see prices are very competitive, if you decide to buy from them and need some help to speak to representative, let me know, but I saw on FB page some one contacted them directly and had no problems to communicate with them.

I didn't expect this comment from you, comrade. :)
But I will leave it up to Hoop, if it offended anyone please delete it.
I also promise to report honest review of the boots and interaction with the seller, and of course my offered help is free

I had problems contacting them and so did others that subscribe to Lars.

They answer your e-mail and then they don't. It kind of makes you nervous to send them money. Do they have a Paypal set up?

Too bad because I am quite interested.

Indeed this guy who checks emails is slow on follow up emails.
but he does answer right away on orders.
what are you interested Trapmusher?
if it is boots they want your feet size from toy to heel.
they do accept pay pal, so in any case we are safe.  the winter is almost over, so I suggest for you to wait till I get or not get mine.
but it is up to you, if you wish tell me what you want, I will contact the guy, and he will respond with order number, then you just send money via paypal with order's remarks.

"Arctic wolf is your comrade" as NKVD (pre-KGB, pre-FSB) would say, LOL
I am just trying to rein your optimism.

kiggy, yep I'll wait. I had sent him my size and asked for a price. Asked a couple of times.  Bought myself some Columbia Omni heat's from thelasthunt. I received them yesterday and I will be wearing them later today.

Please let us know when you receive everything. It looks like good/interesting equipment.

I was on there website a wile back and look good, I like that stuff I see... Always a bit scared to send money to the other end of the world and wait to see if I get something in exchange lol. As for the price they seams alright even if in US dollars( would be better if it was Canadian hahaha) Anyway, maybe one day I get a pair of the skis...

The Skis interest me...the snow conditions we have here this yr would make them a perfect choice given it is on par to what Lars is sliding along on.
Will follow along here and possibly do a ski order for next winter with them....

 so update.
I placed order and paid via PayPal feb 15th,
Today got email with tracking #. took them a week to prepare and send the order, which is fine in my opinion

ANDN, I have same concern as you, my money are hard earned, but if you pay via Amazon, aliexpress or PayPal it is safe to send money overseas, they do send registered mail with tracking #. in case you don't get the package you always can claim your money back.
Stay tuned my friends.

I too am ordering a pair, ones with laces, am just waiting for a response on shipping charges to here and have a friend in Moscow believe it or not doing the phone work for me.
I definitely will post my feelings on them whenever I get them tho I also might not get to use them until next winter.
