For those interested, here's a good test to see just how well both Bearpaw and Ojibwa snowshoe designs hold up in deep snow..only fell down twice during this little test  ;D ;D ;D

Since I bought the 16 X 30 bear paws from you they've been my go to snowshoes, I love them.  I have 14 X 48  Hurons which are a close second and would go to them for wide open country, but most of my travel is in bush or on bush trails, so it's the bear paws.  I still need to get a small bear paw for camp work until the site sets up though.

I don't mind the gait either it feels almost normal.

That being said perhaps I could quote Quint from Jaws..... "here's to swimmin' with bow legged wimmin".   Of course after the sheltered life I've led, I have no idea what that means.....ahem

Cheers,
Ken
I, haul the sled so therefore I am "the" dawg.....
