kettles
« on: September 02, 2018, 11:13:24 am »
I have a set of 3 nesting Evernew stainless steel kettles that have served me very well. Small one for tea, next big or biggest for vegetables. I can stack one on top of the other for cooking on the stove with the lid on. I can use any one of the kettles to broil my meat with the open kettle up tight against the bottom of my stove. I have another shallow straight sided flat bottom stainless steel bowl I like to use under the stove because a shorter sided kettle gets the meat closer to the bottom of the fire so is hotter.
I would never buy kettles that had a lid that prevented me from stacking them to cook. I am trying to convert the homeless guys I know to do some cooking in their camp.
A bowl can be used for a kettle, it is easy to cover the top with whatever.
I can not find a supply of straight sided, flat bottom, under 6" diameter stainless steel bowls.

Your post is unclear. Are you asking for help in locating the type kettles of kettles you describe?

Yes, I could use some help to find them. I have gone to places in Calgary that might stock something like this. I see lots of round bottom mixing bowls.
