Solo Winter Hammock Camp
« on: January 09, 2019, 10:16:55 am »
A nice overnight solo hammock camp into an area I've never been....the hills look different up here!  Had a nice twig stove fire, a good walk up the mountain and chilled out for the night in my tarp and hammock setup.   If you have 30 minutes to kill, grab a cup of coffee and check it out....enjoy!

That is about as minimalist as one can go. Certainly great to see you making it all work.
Also great to see you stepping into the Hammock world...But as you noted in your video comments section your not sold yet. If it is a route you want to dive into then spend once cry once has to be done and Eno is last on the spend list. Get a proper 11' hammock plus underquilt(s), topquilt(s) and Fact check in with James at Little Shop of Hammocks a Canadian shop in Sask, and allow him to gear you up properly for the temps you want to be in. Trust me it will make all the difference with amazing dead to the world sleeps in the harshest of places.
Watching you fit into that Eno made me cringe...

Look forward to your next Adventure Edit 8)
