Algonquin bliss
« on: January 15, 2019, 04:06:10 pm »
Just couldn’t pass up this weather we had on the weekend.  Fantastic skiing conditions out there folks, winter is in full swing in Algonquin.  Just pick a spot on the map, park and go :)

3ft of snow in the bush

When the lakes are solid, air is crisp and sun is out...pure bliss 8)

Found this little spot, perfect for a camp next time out :)

Running a little late in the day, but love spending the last bit of daylight out on the lakes 8)

Happy travels everyone!!

Hello walknabout:  Lovely pictures! Were you camping at all or just on a day trip?  Thanks for sharing.

Take care,
Cousin Pete

This was just one long day Pete, no camping, but i did scout a couple of new spots for future overnight trips.
The conditions are prime in APP right now, and when the going gets good, the good get out and play ;D

Beautiful photos.  Thanks so much for sharing.  We're supposed to finally get some good snow this coming weekend down in my part of central NYS.  Two feet is the prediction so I'm hoping they're correct.  Even if we only get half that much, it will feel like winter has finally arrived.

That's all for now.  Take care and until next time....be well.
