New Tipi- What Fabric?
« on: December 04, 2019, 02:56:35 pm »
Can anyone figure out whether this tipi is made out of cotton canvas, or something else: https://www.tentsme.com/Tentsme-Winter-Canvas-Teepee-Tent-With-Wood-Stove-Jack-For-Cold-Weather-For-3-4-Person-134x134x94-inch-p261123.html

What is 300D Oxford cloth? Sounds synthetic.

I think it's a plain weave nylon

This is just an opinion based on the visual you linked, but I agree with BV, looks like a nylon. "Oxford" is not commonly used to describe cotton canvas in my limited experience. Oxford is used to describe nylons.

I did some checking online. Oxford cloth is made from polyester or nylon, but either way, definitely synthetic.
