Fishing has been good

The ice fishing here in the Northwoods has been very good the past couple of years including some fine catches. Let the 2010 season begin eh!

1300 people looked at this thread and NO ONE commented!!??  That's a GORGEOUS brown trout doood!!  Wow!  I'd give me catch one of those beautiful browns... through the ice no less!?

Sweet!  Keep that spot under your lid for sure!  If you happen to be back there this winter, pop up some more photos, brother!

Cheers and thanks for sharing!

EDIT: forgot ask, in amongst your photos I notice a huge metal cylinder on top of the ice (aerator) what is that for?  I mean, why is on the lake in the first place?

Great photos!

Nice trout you got there, Moosebreath.  Some of us in Northern Minnesota are very anxious for January to get here. I hope to catch a few more 16 inch brookies this year.  And it's good to see you, too, are a mature looking man.
